I first came across Plaza Familia's online magazine about a year ago and found it to be a wonderful bilingual, English/Spanish publication on parenting. They no longer have the online magazine but instead have developed a simple to navigate blog. This great site, with a contributing writting staff of well known bloggers of the American-Latino blogersphere, provides parenting and educational tips at every step of a childs stage. I highly recommend Plaza Famila.

Spanish Language Infused Picture Books
The following is a link to a Shelfari group site that I created a few years ago that lists Spanish Language Infused Picture Books. Many of these books are available at your library and if not, can be borrowed from a library that has them. They are a wonderful resource for introducing Spanish terminology to children interested in the language or for bilingual (Spanish/English) children who will delight in seeing their language scattered throughout the stories.
